It is going to be consistent.
The goal in mind with tac sprint is solely to reduce downtime of traveling from point a to point b, without it being the dominant strategy in combat situations (assault’s movement would still cover this with lighter gear at the cost of health iirc from the dev casts)
can you explain how EXACTLY its going to work?
Run in a certain direction for a few seconds, tac sprint gets enabled.
Start turning a lot/make a sharp turn (e.g. turning 90 degreees right) tac sprint stops and you go back to normal sprint. Enables again if you keep running in that direction, etc.
It’s solely there to cut down on the wait time/make running to objectives, vehicle spawns, etc. feel like less of a chore, which was a problem players had, hence the “walking sim” complaints.
will it have a timer? cuz I saw a "stamina meter" in the lastest dev update video that oki posted
Supposed to be time based and not stamina for movement, because iirc the community universally hated the idea of a stamina bar for actions. (Unless oki suddenly changed plans)
