Since bleeding is getting removed, maybe they could add wounded limbs, let me cook.
Wounded limbs wouldn't kill you, but they would nerf your movement/reloading speed or other nerfs, nothing to big, but just enough to change the gameplay a little bit. Doing this would keep the medics useful and also would give a little bit more of realism to the game.
How would it work?
If you get shot multiple times in an arm, leg, chest or if you get killed by a headshot and get revived you would get a wounded limb.
What would be the nerfs? (suggestion)
- Arms: Either you get a reloading speed nerf, or you would get a little bit more of recoil.
- Chest: You would get a stamina nerf, you would need to rest and recover from time to time to keep running, if you're a sniper, you wouldn't be able to hold your breath as long as before.
- Legs: You would walk and run slower or you couldn't jump (just vault)
- Head: Well, if they killed you by a headshot it doesn't make too much sense to get revived and be fine, if you're wounded you could get a black vignette that makes your sight worse.
All of this wounds could be healed by a medic, so people who get revived, or people that have been alive for a while but are wounded would be looking for medics through the game to get this wounds healed. Non of this wounds are going to kill you over the time, you could have 100 hp but still be wounded. And also, non of this wounds would affect way too much, just enough so you can think "I need to find a medic".
Medics could heal themselves, but slower than healing others, this to prevent running jumping solo monkeys that don't play the game with teams and just rush the other team.
