@ionic jacinth assault, medic, and recon have ranger armor
engineer has "no armor" option
these choices allow assault medic and recon to self sustain longer without supports constantly near them, and engineer to ADS faster with RPGs
Pretty ADS multipliers dont apply to rpgs
been punting around an assault variant of all armors including exo, plus giving assault access to heavy helmets
its more or less giving up total magcount for having armor thats faster (assault exo would have heavy armor debuffs, and so on) but retains the same armor value
