Agree, it would be better to drop feature by feature so they can fix single things from one update to another. Now, when this comes out, is going to be another 2-4 months so they can fix what people didn't like about the update.

The only thing that upsets me is that they initially said it would be dropping Q1, didn't happen. Then they said mid April and that won't be either, stop promising stuff that you can't deliver.

I would be amazed if they actually release the update in April.

Steam makes it easy to patch your game or add content at any time that you need to in order to best serve your audience on your schedule. Feel free to update as often as you need to, but remember that players who have your game installed will need to download each update before they can launch the game again, so be considerate if your updates are large in size.

I cannot think of any reason that doesn't involve their codebase and version control system being a complete mess. It should not have been a problem to fix the black screen bug without touching anything else.

When you promise your customers you will complete their order and deliver it to their hands in MID APRIL, and then you say there is some problem so it will be delay to END OF THE APRIL, and then end of the april arrives, customers ask again their orders and you say it is tough so NEED MORE TIME, what will your customers think?
