#Improved stealth gameplay.

Lately, I've been experimenting with a more tactical and stealthy playstyle. I've tried to use the recon drone to gain information of unsuspecting enemies to then find a way behind them and take them out.

While playing in this playstyle I've noticed some problems with it such as:

  1. Not being able to see myself in the recon drone has made it harder to define where the enemies are from my position. This could simply be fixed by making your character visible when flying in the drone.

  2. The recon class doesn't have a lot of weapons for this playstyle as snipers and marksmen rifles aren't exactly the best for taking out multiple enemies. While the class has some battle rifles, I'd say that SMG's might fit the recon class better for the recon class's emphasis on agility and covert gameplay.

  3. It's slow to swap from drone to weapon or weapon to drone. Trying to make the recon drone fit this fast-paced playstyle is hard when it takes a long time to swap between equipment. Maybe something like a hotkey to go straight to the drone view without first needing to swap to the tablet could help.

Lastly I'll say I'm just a casual gamer and idk would such changes actually be balanced, but these are just some issues I had playing the game this way.

played bf4 and really liked how you can choose to be either a generic sniper or play an "infiltrator" role, would like seeing that in battlebit as well

maybe give recon a new armor that gives more small arms ammo i/o sniper/rifle ammo for those who wanted to play a certain play style

having armor have stats that effect specific gadgets and weapon types is an idea that could be very cool in the long run, even allow for more types of armor/armor cosmetics to fit the role

for some reason I thought it'd be a funny addition for recon to have a fanny pack to replace the backpack and it increases the small arms magazine count

all belts are the same except for the engy "tool" belts right which give an extra light gadget?

Basically on engie its either 2 extra mags or 1 extra mag and 1 extra gadget

Its kind a hard in this state of gameplay cause the footstep from enemyteam was too loud you can hear the from kilo away and they can hear you too i always try this but its kind a useless

I've always said, give smgs and all silenced only weapons to recon as well

Every class should have 2 playstyles imo. Recon should be able to provide long range support and cover, or be one of the best classes maneuvering around objectives and taking out stragglers with silenced weaponry, or breaking through gaps in enemy lines.

i think itd be ok to give it smg because the buffs, armor and movement speed that make smg stronger are mainly given to assault class

i think that maybe instead of giving smgs give PDW? the two internally suppressed guns fall under that category and would fulfill the same role

It's kind of like how the medic - for some reason - can't use the pp2000 anymore (why?). Like just give me all the guns that play the same bro

Doesnt battlefield make the spawn becon a gadget for recon? (At least Bf4 did, not sure about the others) which is why the recon scout role actually made sense

beacon is given to squad leader instead, and people don't know beacons exist let alone how to place them 🤷‍♂️

Give me the ability to move faster when crouching and pressing sprint, similar to how in pubg you can either just move around crouching AND run around crouching.
