Hear me out, if in addition to the RHIB or PWC and jet skin we were to get a model swap of them and allowing them to be taken on land. I think this would add a larger use case to them because even on maps with loads of water or swamp such as Basra or District. i think retaining the gun on the front of a large hover craft would allow for more fun engagements. This would also let a larger section of the map be used rather than sit empty.

Exactly my point, with them going on land there is at least a chance they get blown up allowing others to respawn

I recently tested how far the boats can go onto land and its pretty abysmal, i was playing on tensa town and was trying to drive through a river and go stopped 5 feet into it, if i could have gone further i could have had a new way to get near the objectives and give my squad soemthing to spawn on.

It would help if the other vehicles didn't truly suck to drive around, but the hovercraft could be an easy way to avoid annoying things like getting your jeep stuck in an inch of water

The gun boat only having 1x and 2x magnification makes it a worse IFV than the BTR and LAV. Nobody actually uses the mini guns on the side because mini guns suck. I've seen the RHIB used well enough, but it still suffers from the minigun taking 3-10 hits to kill.
