Would love to see the classic handle style and triangular iron sights for the M4A1. I love playing the Prestige model of the weapon, but I think it needs an option to have these more accurate -to-life sights.

pretty relevant because the a1 generally does not have one.
it can attach one...
its a different model, would need knew attach points for the sights, so it might as well be a separate gun.
a way around it could be having the thing be a "sight" with a upper-sight being a standard scope. but that would honestly be more work than just making it seperate.
again you can attach an m16 style carry handle on an m4, via the rail
yeah and that would fuck up the model in game

you can just put it on the rail and take it off again, no need to put a rail for other optics on your carrying handle since you can just remove it
it works like anything else you put on your top rail exept for its dual purpose as the back part of the iron sights and being a carrying handle

you are trying to get a skin for a weapon that has no carry handle, and have the skin havea carry handle which goes where the sights go.
I'm sorry you are to stupid to understand that would mean sights would be clipping and not able to be looked through.
A skin can't modify places where attachments could go.
Imagine having the skin then after you place a Reddot on the gun.
The carrying handle sight would overlap it wouldn't dissapear magically

on top of that every single other sight would also be clipped and covered by said skin with no exceptions

that would be a waste of dev time for something not used at all.
making a "new" gun with the carry-handle built in would allow for sights to work and keep a classic look for those that want it. also allow the burst fire and full auto versions of the m4 be seperated.

do you not realize that there are attachable carry handles which can be interchanged with any other rail mounted sight

it would just be like every other game, a model, with an equip point on the carry handle instead of the rail. especailly for something m16/m4 like it would hardly need much except moving the attachpoint higher.

I see where you're coming from, but I had envisioned a carry handle exclusively for the iron sights setting. As soon as you switch optics the handle would be removed the same way the current iron sights are. Now, you are right it would take up time that the devs could be working on other things that people would care more about, but that's why I threw it out there as a suggestion instead of dming them directly demanding for what I want. They can decide what they want and do not want to add to their game.
at that point just make the model a different gun with the classic look. it would take the same amount of time as making the carry handle model anyway.
