Everytime I press the 'exit' button on Battlebit home lobby thing, my laptop screen just freezes.

I can open up other applications on my taskbar, and can pre-view those tabs by hovering my mouse over them, but I cannot actually go on those tabs, because the Battlebit app stays on my screen, completely frozen. I tried to close that Battlebit tab by pressing the X on the top-right, Alt+F4, and even pressing 'Close Window' button on Windows 11 taskbar, but no matter what I do, the Battlebit app is still frozen on my screen.

Sorry for the long post, but can someone tell me if it is just my laptop or a game bug, and any solutions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

is it just frozen or with gray overlay and could possibly show "not responding" dialog?

It does not say 'not responding' dialogue, just completely frozen. I think it might be my laptop not having enough RAM (8GB).

virtual memory designed to be an extension of RAM, stores less frequently accessed data, therefore when you increased it, it allowed battlebit to actually run instead of just freezing
