OK hear me out
In most shooter games, including battlebit, the ergonomics of a gun is often overlooked. I think one of the most effective ways to represent ergonomics is recoil patterns, because:
- they can be up to preference (2 different recoil patterns might not be better than each other)
- practice can mitigate (but not completely remove) the effects
I suggest much weaker recoil patterns than CS (this ain't really a competitive game), weak enough that someone playing casually won't notice, but strong enough that someone who puts in the time to practice with a particular gun might extend the effective spray range.
Thoughts?
