These 3 guns should hold 30 rounds, 15 rounds, and 20 rounds respectively. I literally ditched the AK for the RPK-16 because of it's neutered 24-round mags, the M9 for the MP443 for more capacity and power, and the Mk14 for my old trusty M4.

I imagine I'll find more weird mag capacity choices with more hours but that's all for now.

Edit: if you really want to keep the M9 at 13 rounds maybe remodel it to be a Browning Hi-Power, because that gun actually holds 13 (or 15 with all the newer Mec-Gar mags but you don't have to use that).

Im pretty sure the mag sizes are there for balance sake tbh

Like sure it would make sense for ak15 to have 30 bullets, however it would bork the balance given other brs cant have above 20 bullets per mag

As for M9 and MK14, idk

MK14 could use a buff of any kind really

Also about the RPK16, the drum mag only holds 60?! IRL it's supposed to hold 95 ffs, so at least give it 75 for the sluggishness?

Yeah sure m9 and mk14 need a buff nobody disagrees there but please do not base video game balance on real life cause it will never work

And also keep ak15 on br, early game players need a more offensive option for off-meta support/recon plays

Like there is a reason why some guns in the game have stupid damage, stupid recoil or nonsensical firerate

Problem with the 2 “defensive styled classes” (I say that loosely because you can just as effectively use the tools at hand to go on the attack) is that they’re locked to 1 set playstyle till level 15 (mk20 is good, ssg is trash but ultimately they play the same in terms of playstyle for recon)

And the L86 is good obviously, but it requires good positioning/awareness of surroundings to be used effectively. (Something most BBR players seem to struggle with tbh, but it’s especially true when they’re just starting out)

Rpk doesn’t need that though, already oppressive enough as it is

Leave the big mags/spray at range to ultimax, otherwise there’s no reason to pick that over rpk other than “make shift sniper”

In that case I'd like less of a debuff for using the drum mag. All those stat decreases for an extra 15 rounds is just suboptimal for me

Drum mag/extended mag buffs im not against (for all weapons that use it tho)

Anything that isn’t quick/short in some cases, (when quick exists on a gun its a straight upgrade) sucks currently

But rpk itself, no attachments factored in is really strong in the right hands. I don’t think it needs more power in the form of buffs
