Is this normal behavior frametime spikes when idle in shoting range? System : OS Win 10 22H2 19045.4170 CPU : AMD 5800x3d GPU : 3060ti Ram : 3200 16gb ( 2 x 8gb ) cl16 SSD NVME: 970 Evo Plus ! No vsync or something. frames are uncapped and the frame spikes coming in faster interval. if i change to capped frames to 144 the frame spikes takes longer inverval.

i google and saw few reddit posts with having same issue after the big 2023 patch . the interval is based on fps like 144 fps its like every ~ 30 sec and with like 500+ its like every 15 sec and with 60 fps its like every min

the frametime ms rise to ~20ms and i feel it as a fps drop for 0,5 sec or less.

i reinstall 2 times pc with different windows. win 10 and 11

i tryd few other games based on d3d11 , d3d12 , vulcan , opengl and they hav no issues... only battlebit. i rly like this game cuz high fps but cant enjoy it with this interval fps drop.

i noticed when i use num 3 to disable weapon/ hands in shooting range map the frametime spike only reach 7 ms so maybe the issues is there somewhere

Do you have a desktop wallpaper that is a slideshow or something similar?

Does Battlebit run on your iGPU instead of your 3060TI?

rly weird just start in 2023 the big major update

on my sons pc is this same

think every one hav it but no one rly notice

many use 60 fps vsync or gsync or freesync

so this ppl with never notice

but im high fps gamer

as far is i know my pc is well optimized cuz every works fine just battlebit not

even on diablo 4 i hav no drops and play with 144 fps and this game is shity optimized even on console

i can't suggest you much since i never heard anyone experiencing this, probably tweaking your RAM timings/subtimings would be a good idea since ryzens of this generation are pretty capricious when it comes to the memory
