You activate to start recording with this device then stop recording. Then when you drop it, it loops the sounds that were recorded.

This could add propose to drones, to clear buildings, or help players trying to counter drones.

Baiting out a guy into peaking while you have a low TTK gun?

At that point just flash bang the corner, then run around it?

Or better yet throw a C4, or a grenade, or even better yet…

Yeah or a c4 trap. Beauty of it is you can be far away where throwable can’t reach. So players will play more cautiously when chasing gunfire, encouraging using drones to check it out or checking around the area first before going towards gunfire.

I agree about the “bait em and switch” idea, but in the context of what the game wants to portray, it doesn’t really have a place?

I think that it might just be
1-ignored because of other more pressing matters (ie, getting shot at)
2-so irrelevant due to lack of impact(ie: it only distracts and kills 1 guy)

Stuff like putting mines on drones is actually sometimes effective(ie, a tank is annoying? Drone bomb it.).

Like the idea, it would work in a game like squad, Arma, maybe even tarkov, but probably not in BbR

Well, ironically getting shot at is why I want this item. It’s so common to have a horde of enemies hear you at once. But point 2 is curious. Because it may not be used to necessarily kill more than one person or anyone at all. Just to manipulate. Maybe manipulate hordes of enemies.

My brother in Christ, a horde of enemies will clear every angle with 2 things at once

Numbers and explosives.

Sure it might be a “they might be coming from the left, gotta keep an eye out!” Sorta thing that might score the pushing team a win or two on the defenders.
