i just mean like, why the fuck do we have these if the only thing theyre used for is to do 1 dropoff, then sit in spawn for the whole match, other than enjos literally no one will join your heli because they can save themselves like 20 seconds and just spawn on a squadmate

vs the littlebird where your too fast to get hit by most engis

and we wont talk about an APC vs a blackhawk lol

you have faster movement to drop people off and go back to spawn

thats the thing, is no one will join your littlebird, its a good idea on paper because it works irl, but in a videogame where 7 people and a majority of the map you can spawn on a helicopter sees little action

blackhawks usually sit in spawn longer
slower so people are like oh hes moving outta spawn
better spawn on him

you must be playing in wild ass servers then, because official and custom progression theres 1 dude who will ever get into your heli, and theres a 90% chance he doesnt know how to get out, and will sit in there as an assault all game

it doesnt seem that hard to just give people a bit of xp for joining a heli and then pilots who dont want to fly a giant brick, or spend 8000 hours studying the physics of BBR to be an armed little bird pilot wont be stuck in spawn all game

no one really checks the spawn area mid game, most people are on objectives (as seen in the clip I posted above), if you are in eu this can be a lil tricky because the language barrier but its worth a try i guess
