I read somewhere that some changes will come towards armor, bleed and whatnot once the new update rolls out.
Will this make it more difficult for snipers in the future?
I've played a lot of sniper lately, and absolutely love the M200.
More and more I'm getting used to the weapon, and try to switch up between long distance and up close gameplay.
But! I've noticed quite a few times that a simple helmet seems to be a guaranteed barrier against any type of bullets coming your way.
It does makes sense that it works the way it does currently (i like it the way it is) - What doesn't make sense is that there is no change in effect when standing within 3-10 meters within distance of a sniper, shooting directly at a players head, and it still reacts as if you were standing 1000 or 2000 m away reflecting the bullet like it's nothing.
- In my opinion: Hitting a headshot within 10 meters should penetrate any armor we currently have available, when using a such a powerful weapon such as a sniper.
This (should or could) be made to only affect headshots! - and not increase the damage caused on other body part no matter the distance or the weapon.
The current setup kinda makes me want to go back to camping, since I have such a huge disadvantage when I try to join in to fight, and the result is the same either way except I'll be safe at a distance.
