So the chat can be pretty difficult to use for actual team communication and more so serves as a glorified discord general chat for whatever server you're in at the moment.
I propose you add some filter tabs to the chat to allow us to filter by:
- Only Server Messages
- All non-server chat messages
- Only team and squad messages
- Only squad messages.
The purpose of this is to allow people to clean up the chat of general talking, trash talk, etc from the other team and only focus on what they'd like to focus on. You can add a little dot or something to each filter tab when there's a new message in it so that players are aware their team may be chatting. You could also add hot keys for swapping tabs quickly.
This will allow for easier visibility on important squad messages, team messages, and even server messages on community servers. Some community servers like to spam the chat, so this would clear that up as well.
