Why the Swarovski?

  • Built-in backup iron sights on the top!
  • It provides a nice bridge between 1x and 2x, much like the scope with the F2000. Also featuring an extremely clean reticle that provides unobstructed aiming!
  • It has a VERY iconic profile and look. It's one of the most iconic features of the AUG.
  • Compatible with both the AUG and the upcoming HBAR

THE IMPORTANT ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
I am very aware that the Swarovski scope is traditionally built-into the AUG A1, or bolted on.
HOWEVER- PLEASE look at the pictures. As they show ways the Swarovski can work with the picatinny rail system ingame and the AUG A3 as a whole. I feel discounting this suggestion because "It's not an A1 AUG" is silly.

Sorry for the slight bump but FINALLY found a proper pic of the 1.5x reticle- Something this clean would be amazing for the AUG

honestly the game really needs more low zoom optics, rn we basically only have the slip scope and a bunch of 1x options, and all the higher zoom scopes have too much recoil for most weapons.

Agreed, though we also have the F2000 1.6 sight, but that's stuck to the f2000

So having this would be cool since it fits on 2 weapons, the AUG and the HBAR (unreleased so far)

Plus it has an actually good reticule unlike the f2000 sight

Sexy really is the best way to describe it. As for where it would go in unlocks, I think maybe around 150 kills? or 100?

Though it could fit really anywhere since it is a low-power zoom

Update: Found the time to do a quick sketch of how a Swarovski would fit on the current AUG picatinny as well as the top sight. Allowing for usage of both the inbuilt irons and top sight reddots

Classic scopes for AUG and G36 with benefit stats to gun and some trade off would be fun.
Maybe in future we can add ability to unlock those kind of scopes for some complex chain of challenges with that gun.
But right now there is not much time to explore that direction.

Along with the M60, Chinese LMG (QYJ?), MG3 (Just a modern MG42), AND PKP
