Over all i think it would be really hard to balance the flash bang for the scale of combat on 127v127 servers replacing with a Sound Grenade i understand this may not be realistic but sound is really good right now and you can hear people coming from far away having Something that would greatly reduce the distance you can hear sounds maybe disable all sound for 4 to 8 seconds depending how close to the Grenade but with no flash bang effects this would also greatly reduced trolling by team flashing

Lets be honest flashbang is a not a good spot but simply removing team flash would cause the flashbang to be very op mostly due that in a lot of places if the flash is thrown right trophy systems will not stop them

Like i played a whole match without sound once, other than having mild issues predicting enemies it really isnt that bad
if i see where the decoy came from i can still kill you, also common sense
If i can have little issue doing it the whole match, then being deaf for 5 secs is gonna be mildly annoying

being blind for 5 seconds kills, being deaf is just an annoyance

Cool way to leverage a different part of the gameplay. Seems like muting/reducing the sound isn't enough. What if it was like a sound hallucination grenade? Might be pretty hard to implement well, but instead of hearing what's around you, you hear sound from a different part of the map (or hear what the nearest enemy is hearing, etc). I dunno, popped into my head
