It's simple, put a system of levels per class and put a type of currency that is earned by playing to buy the weapon you want, so depending on the class you play you will level up and with the in-game money you buy the weapon you want. you want to use, an example of this would be Battlefield 1 and its "war bonds" this of course because of the aspect that some players have mentioned of the "grinding" that must be done to unlock certain weapons
