Helicopters should be able to damage all armored vehicles.

It is already so hard to aim and kill infantry with attack helicopters and forcing it to only damage other aircrafts makes it really useless.Helicopters have very big disadvantage against tanks and BTR82 LAV25A1 even humvees.

if it could damage tanks and btrs then it could just snipe them from 200m+ away without any fear of getting shot down

and pair that with the nonexistant vehicle damage dropoff and you suddenly have an insane anti vehicle option

Purely theoretically, you can take your teammate and throw him onto the tank. Does suicide c4 damage heavy vehicles? If it does damage, then you can do some pretty funny things) But even without this, he can use regular c4 and tandem in the fall

i already do that i take rpg's and my homies fly me above the armored vehicles and i blow them up

i just think attack helicopters are a bit pointless

not gonna lie, there aren't many DIRECT counters to helicopters, buffing it to damage heavy's would mean getting a more effective counter then just shooting out the pilot/tail rotor, as stated btr fire is horrendous to aim, an the average tank player is so tunneled vision it's a miracle thy even found it in spawn to begin with, an spraying it with lmg fire is moot when thy just simply fly away when you only did like 84 points to 400p

yeah, 1st, devs said no. 2nd, even the RPG helicopters will be going away eventually, 3rd the rpg teams on choppers are far more effective than any rocket armed version would be anyway

Even though I've killed more armor vehicles from the side of the Blackhawk then times I've been shot down via tail rotor I support this. It ain't easy. Especially against safezone tank campers,

I say LIGHT damage to apc and lav BUT only when lav or apc is on fire like it takes dumping 200 rounds downrange onto an lav to kill it to the point it’s not worth it
