I've posted this 2 or 3 times in the old discord layout with positive responses - I pray that maybe this post gets attention in the new discord layout.
I exclusively play with friends, using the party system.
I have randoms join my squad at the start of every round, but they get butthurt when I ask them over VOIP to play the OBJ.
'This is a default squad' they say in the text chat, but as a party SL I'm never given the opportunity to define my party as favouring a 'tactical' playstyle.
#Party leaders are never given the option of what type of squad they operate.

I do need help with it mate - I've had groups of 5+ give me false reports for grieving over kicking them from my squad when i want to play tactical with folks who i'm friends with on steam
getting temp banned from official servers is no joke when i just want to kick it with the boys

I have the exact same issue. It's sucks that we can do vehicle squads ingame but I have NEVER had the chance to actually play in a vehicle squad because a squad in a party is a default squad.

+1, same problem. Even more - sometimes, game allows me to choose squad type, but it is very rare moment, 1 game of 20 maybe. Reconnect not helps, no any possibility to change squad type founded... Very sad 😦 Devs please fix it 😢
