An underbarrel grenade launcher that can go on assault rifles, with the DOWNSIDE of getting rid of your throwable grenades in exchange for the ones used in the launcher. Granting you longer range and better aim, but at the cost of not having another underbarrel and replacing your normal grenades.

I completely understand it this isnt added or even considered, but if it is for the love of god do not let people launch flashbangs

Make it use your throw grenade as ammo with increased range that would be the best way to do it balanced wise in my opinion

This ones should be OP in most of games, but speed of games and speed of respawn makes it playable. Sniper could oneshot? Rpg could oneshot? Why not grenade? Still one shot. Thats the game.

instead

is an element of tactics.

  1. parked on the point or near point. you have to capture to get control, or protect to prevent enemy simplification of clearing your point
  2. this one is rarely spawned and could be used less risky than minigun one
  3. this one is primary weapon and you become vulnerable on close distance, cus of grenade doesnt detonate on short distance and works simple as the thrown rock
  4. this one could have small rate of fire and reloading like in APC, explodes only after the grenade bounces off the ground several times

not to say its bad but wouldent this just better becasue your still able to ads but with a granade that can go further then u can throw?

And grips are usually half of what make a gun good

#

Seems like a fair tradeoff

#

I think another downside would be having to actually reload the launcher

#

Because of that you cannot spam grenades

#

Not only that, as drzevny said, it should also be destroyable by antinades

Just to add, different grenade types in the nade launcher would be nice depending on what you have in the throwables slot (with exceptions of flashes and antivehicles):

  • This is something from airsoft but I find it to be an interesting concept still: frag grenades will have a timer, they won't explode on impact. Not sure how long the timer should be tho. They should be definetly fast, but not too much so that you cant see it coming.
  • Impact nades will work like actual nade launcher nades and explode on impact.
  • Smoke grenades will work like they do on the already existing smoke launcher.
#

This is also going under the presumption that nearby enemies will hear an audible thump as it is fired

@fluid terrace also grenade launcher make gun heavier. Much heavier.

Something like the Milkor revolving grenade launcher is a bit overkill and very spammy if you stacked engineers with those unless it had some serious ammo and mobility limitations HyperXD

APCs much moreso than tanks, but tanks are just insanely squishy for what they are

where the potholes can allow passenger to shoot out from but have a very limited firing angle

toxic wren
#

Even the old free to play battlefield game had that, it's a pretty simple feature that would add a lot of versatility to the APCs

tulip hamlet
#

right now passenger useless. and its even worst with APC back camping players

#

its fine if they back camp at a good spot, able to provide supporting fire + the spot is near objectives but most of the time they be sitting just outside main base

#

would be interesting to see another variant of APC

#

something similar to this

#

this apc have openings at the top as well

#

meaning players could potentially opt for better covering fire as they would be able to view every angle while firing from the top hole but will be more susceptible to enemy fire as they are more exposed

fluid terrace
#

Tbh having apc from where passangers could shoot from would be dope

Basically bf1 heavy tanks

#

It could be either with machineguns or everyone can use their own guns to shoot the holes
