When doing a prestige rank up you get a ticket that can permanently unlock a gun of your choosing.
If I'm not mistaken you can do a prestige rank up 10 times, that would give 10 permanently unlock tickets, which is not a lot.
Waiting to use your favorite gun is what discourages me the most about prestige.
