It's just that the system of this respawning in combat needs to be refined. It doesn't work perfectly.

For example, you should remove the ability to revive on an ally if bullets are whizzing around them. This will solve your problem if you are shooting at an enemy who is far away. And there will be no fast respawn on him. Plus it will eliminate the instant deaths after you appear on an ally that has been peppered with lead bullets

But also with a shorter respawn time, you won't have to wait forever to stand on a "calm" ally somewhere in the rear of the line

lower respawn timers is an objectively good idea, tried and tested, people that have played the game for longer than 20 hours always agree unless they're a low skill level player, which i would like to make it very clear i'm not having a jab at those that are lower skill, however these players wont ever actually notice a difference in respawn timers, how long it takes to respawn doesnt matter as much for these players as they are not bothered by their KPM and they often wait for revivals anyway, which is already waiting out that timer, to higher skilled players, those 7 seconds to respawn over time can add up to being the difference between a 70 and a 100 kill game because the game is so incredibly fast and dynamic in nature. the full death to respawn cycle takes about 5 seconds as is and taking the death as well as being set back on your path is enough of a punishment in a game like this, no reason to have to sit there for another 5 seconds pondering the meaningless questions of existence
