Often I play on limited sniper servers because they are generally not very helpful on your team and are nothing but annoying on the other team. Only problem is they can't limit the snipers without limiting the class. The byproduct of this is people just spam using DMRs and filling the same niche. When asked, server admins and owners say they can't solve this problem without entirely removing that class, and obviously I don't want that to happen. Just think it would be a nice QOL change to custom servers that I think would fit well.

It's the TBG network of servers, I know they are throughout multiple games so they are relatively reputable. But why lie about something that trivial?
I googled multiple things and see nothing about limiting/banning weapons for custom servers, but tbf theres no guides on there ab setting up servers in general.

been on several community servers that black listed class, and DMRs

honestly strange, it is possible. and its not like the servers were using something not allowed officially
since it was a official progression server at the time.

They probably don't, Oki didn't really vet who got white listed to host community server so a lot of server owners don't know things, they just have had the server that was capable to host.
