#Parachutes (or improvement to exiting helicopters)

One of the most common issues I have in Battlebit is spawning on a helicopter, only for the pilot to never deploy the rope. I actively avoid helicopter spawns for this reason, since so many heli pilots (including the littlebird transports) are happy to fly around aimlessly.

If you're lucky, they'll drop the rope. If you're VERY lucky, they'll also fly low enough to actually safely drop off the rope. You may even hit the trifecta where they do so over objectives.

We need some method to either:

  1. Force helicopter pilots to drop the rope and fly low enough to safely drop off the rope.
  2. Safely exit a helicopter at any altitude.

I really like the rappel ropes but a parachute is something each individual player can control.

Maybe a good alternative would be allowing passengers in a helicopter to drop their own rappel ropes, or having some kind of one off "fell from helicopter but survived" mechanic which mimics the crashed helicopter scene, so you plummet to the ground after jumping out with bleeding, requiring immediate first aid.

Vehicle gameplay overall needs a few months of reworking.

What if the parachute is disposable and takes up a gadget slot? (the slot in which anti-personnel mines and c4)

Confirmed that parachutes will not be added, but I agree that there should be a way to safely get out of a helicopter if you spawn in one

Honestly I rarely have issues with transport helicopters not lowering their rope
