Here's hoping this message finds you well and you are having a happy start to the New Year. I have played Battle Bit now for over 150 hours and I must say that it's brought me back to the FPS genre. Call of Duty always felt too "gamey" for me, but, Battle Bit provides a very refreshing element of grit and strategy. A big thank you to the Devs for making the game and bringing enjoyment to people like me.
There are two suggestions I'd like to offer you that I think would vastly improve the game. I believe these changes would be viewed positively by experienced and casual players:
- Add a Stamina Bar - There are few things more annoying in the game than when an enemy soldier runs around in circles and you're unable to kill him. Next thing you know, he revives two friends while he is running around and zigging / zagging. I think that adding stamina (like in almost all FPS games) would remove this perverse incentive that players have to run around in the open.
- Spawning on Squad Should Cost Squad Points - I like the idea of a Battlefront being formed where there is an offensive / defensive line and one team must capture one building after another to advance. Unfortunately, the immersion can be broken here when one or more soldiers slips behind enemy lines. Within a minute, an entire squad or half the enemy army is spawned in and your post is overrun. The same applies when on offense. An enemy squad keeps spawning in to hold the same building, even though you've killed them all multiple times. Spending squad points to spawn on your squad (or on a respawn beacon) would be a good compromise between spawning with your friends / your squad and abusing this feature of the game.
Thank you for reading, I greatly appreciate it and am looking forward to hearing the community's thoughts on this. I have high hopes for the game going forward!
