#Gillie Suit

Recon get the suit at rank 150
You can't see anyone in the grass as it is, and with camouflage like that, it's going to be a nightmare
man with how little grass there is, its not that hard
I have a couple clips on my computer. You'd be surprised how invisible people can be.
not when you are looking at them if that makes sense. at a distance even someone standing tall in black or UCP camo(or the russian urban) would not register to you. but if you are actually looking for them its not hard to spot them
a ghillie suit would not have effected literally anything there because your vision is blocked by the grass. a ghillie suit is meant to blend in, not just be "behind bush and tall grass". even then, how long ago are those clips, cause the foliage was worked way down.
Case in point. I would never have noticed these guys first. Even more, the people standing in front of me wouldn't see them. On the Waki, I spotted him thanks to the tracer and just shot at his starting point. On the Kodiak, 3-5 people didn't see the guy at point-blank range. I realized that there was an enemy there, again from the tracers and that it wasn't my allies' tracers because they turned away and I was just shooting for luck.
District - Again 0 chance to spot this ratty guy first, because even the normal camouflage does its job too great.
And these are just the clips I took when I had the recorder on. How many of these are left unfixed.
Gillie's hiding in the crowd? What? Gillie camouflage is designed for grass and bushes.
I'm saying this kind of camouflage will only make it worse for these rats because they will be even harder to spot or there will be more people abusing it, and there will be more moments where you're running through a field, no one is there, and all of a sudden you get hit in the back of the head by a guy like this in camo.
Only the buns at the convenience store are fresher.
It all seems like "we already have a huge visibility problem on maps, so ghillie camouflage won't change anything, let's add it". Sniper has something similar to ghillie by the way, let's not touch this topic anymore.
my man, he could be wearing black camo and still be hidden from you. a ghillie ain't gonna do shit.
I don't agree with that. I think it will add incentive for some players to lay in grass they wouldn't lay in if they didn't have the option to take a ghillie.
they already do that.
they literally already do that with what we have now
supporter kit chest and hood, and later the ranger stuff. this would change nothing
I'm reading your post and I see - "we already have poor visibility, let's add more camo that is literally grass in the grass"
You don't like being killed by surprise, i get it. it sucks. it's the nature of this kind of game though, so you'd better just deal with it and see every death as a lesson in paying attention
I suggest you watch the video above, it's a lesson where the teacher hates you and always gives you a bad grade because she doesn't like your face.
and your post is, "I can't see them because I'm either A: not looking for them, or B: behind a fucking bush"
You mean the video evidence of you not paying attention? Yeah, that's how I came to my conclusion.
Would you see the guys in the video above? I highly doubt it, even if you had super glasses in your eyes in 8k resolution
This whole fight against stealth is weird to me, I really don't get it. 🐴
yeah, because they are behind fucking bushes and tall grass
what they are wearing means nothing in those videos
I don't know where you're getting this strange idea that you're entitled to clearly see every opponent in your line of sight
they could have all been in bright pink and you still would not have seen them
Because it's a game, an arcade game, not an irl. Maybe?
lol wut
there's a server with red and blue models. Everything is perfectly visible (I'm not saying that you should do so) and you do not die in the back of the head in the field, because the octoto decided to close in the bush. YOU saw him.
Lol, Are you talking about voxide hardcore?
I just hate random in shooters with all my soul. I hate it when you can't control the situation because of the unfairness of the game, not because of its mechanics.
I'd love to, but I've got a huge ping there.
well that's a you problem.
Well if you are such mazahists that you like dying from rats in the grass, which there was 0 chance of seeing in the cube arcade. I feel sorry for you guys.
people already do what you say this would make them do, with other kit pieces. this would change nothing, in gameplay or how you respond. you believe you need to see people in shadows and behind bushes, that's on you.
guess what, its called checking the rat spots.
I do, I like dying to ninjas it's fun..
people like hiding in little holes all the damn time. colors or not. as for say a sniper, you are trying to engage one in bushes 80 meters+ away with a 1x. slap a midrange scope and you would see those guys pretty easily.
a ghillie suit would not change those peoples playstyle. because they already have the tools needed to do this.
In the video above. You're looking at the grass, the grass is looking at you, but you don't see anything in it until a bullet comes from it. You could hire a dog handler to check out those ratty places for you.
I still think it's only going to make things worse
It'd literally wouldn't change a single thing beside make a player look thicker.
might make them more obvious lol
If this is ever added, we'll see who was right. There are no other options in this dialog. I don't mind admitting if I'm wrong and running around in that ghillie.
my man, snipers are always gonna hide in the grass
they always have, and always will.
some of the kits are knockoff ghillies. and they work
Well, as I understand it, the author wants this camouflage for more than just snipers.
this is either gonna have no effect or actively make it easier to spot players
yeah, and at that point its like removing camo from the game period
both sides base camo is actually really good at hiding people, no recon kit needed
desert less so, but it still works
