#Reviving/Giving up

It would be better for the medics but not for the people who're downed, this will likely lead to people being farmed repeatedly until the timer out paces the revive.
There's tons of scenarios where I would rather just give up than be picked up.
I dont think it should be disabled, but having it slowed down might be more accurate.
Imagine a medic hurriedly trying to revive a downed player who has already started giving up, even though its known to both that trying to heal him will only delay the inevitable. The medic doesn't get a bonus, and it's really just a wasted bandage.
I have waited for someone to be picked up to get two kills. I've also seen hilarious videos of someone killing the same guy being picked up over and over again, because the medic was oblivious... and the other person since he didn't give up after the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time lol.
person will never give up if you give him smallest ever seen possibility to heal himself. i know its bad idea but people usually hopeful. if there's a chance to revive - counts of players who gives' up divided.
=======
also if you connect respawn timer to squad-spawn-timer (all dead people of the squad must wait until timer for all squad is refreshed) - they will be on combat zone more time... also it should increase teamplay a bit (you spawn together) and more benefits...
give up feature here is about "ultra-small ttk with small chance to revive". also after playing a medic you just understand that revieving is more dangerous and less funny than fight, somewhere in that point battlefield decided to implement defibrilator as teamplay simplification (btw it reduces teamplay in favor to personal game)
Most of the time in that scenario the medic are not oblivious they know what they were doing; I know this because I and all my friends who've played medic done the exact same thing.. we know this guy is going to get shot and killed again and the down guy probably knows that too, it just super easy attachment kills for the enemy and xp for everyone involved, except the guy getting downed unless he's medic too then they're all farming.
Yes and no. That specific scenario, no. When they're in a pile, medics get oblivious. Also, that doesn't refute the first point where I sometimes wait for a medic to pick someone up. I recently have hilariously seen a hammer guy lay in a pile of guys and get a 10x or something like that. Some people are just oblivious, many aren't.
Sometimes it's better to die than feed someone kills from an oblivious medic
Sure, I kind of didn't address your first thing because it didn't register in my head, that being the perspective of the shooter, kind focused on the second part.
I've played enough to just know by glance that the medic coming for me is going to be a shitter, that's just going to turn that 1 kill into 3.
you guys get rezzed?
Only by the bottom of the barrel players who're doing it for the revive weekly, never when I need to be unless I've enchanted a teammate with my screams over mic.
Suggestion was already made and likewise deleted in the past, but tl;dr what cleo said
Would lead to an absolutely unhinged about of boosting and trolling
Imagine a situation where you can’t respawn because a medic is spam rezzing you but is canceling it out at the last second so you don’t get revived. Basically a “gg quit the game bozo” moment at that point
Instead maybe punish people who give up or give up with close proximity to medics and incentivize medics to heal by decreasing xp medics get from doing other stuff and increasing xp gained for reviving and healing
The xp change was already done. I could see there being an increased respawned time if you give up while within like 5-10m of a medic.
