#Repel rope climbing speed not tied to framerate

It would seem that those with high framerate ingame can climb up the repel ropes a lot faster then to say someone playing at 60fps or even 30 fps.

I would like to suggest a uniform rope climbing/decending speed for all framerates, ideally pretty fast to ensure that there are no dangerous rope hangers on the helicopter when they are going down if they are playing on a lower framerate.

Whaaaat? Is this a thing? I never noticed anyone looking like they climbed twice as fast

Do you have proof or is it based on your gut feeling? If there's something tangible to this, the right place is #game-bugs not here

I used to play on a monitor at 75hz and now at 144. I haven't noticed any difference

#

I was fixing fps at the monitor's hertz, if anything

Is there any actual proof of this

Are we sure this isn't just tied to people's runspeed, which obviouly varies depending on armour and weapon loadout?

To get proper proof you'll need 2 people.
One to do the whole thing with the fps and the other to try and see the difference.
