The way to beat precision weapons is to either rush them and beat them with your better closer range capabilities or to kill from afar with another precision weapon. Spawn camping beats both of these tactics because it's impossible to get close because if you are in enemy spawn you can't heal, shoot, or build and you will die in 10 seconds. You can try to shoot from afar but because the enemy is in their spawn, they can just build to protect themselves and heal risk free where the person outside of spawn is always at risk of getting flanked or shot from another position as well as forcing them to use a weapon they might not want to use. Because spawn camping is so safe (along with recent sniper nerfs), on certain maps, walking is a nightmare because you are always at risk of getting one tapped. I propose that precision weapons shouldn't be able to shoot in spawn to stop the spawn camping or some maps should be changed so that spawns are at lower elevations (but that's much harder than just stopping guns from shooting)

Usually I see the m200/l96 users on a hill or building in the side of the map.
Because the issue of long range camping is apparently never gonna be fixed (It's actively encouraged) , the only thing you can do is change up your playstyle and be in cover more
I will repeat this to the end of the world.
There is no good solution where disabling weapons in the spawn zone (weapons are disabled in the SAFE zone) will ever be the answer.
The problem with spawn snipers and spawn camping tanks is 100% a map design issue, and the MAPS should be fixed to remove this problem, not make some super confusing "you can only fire X weapons, but not Y weapons because of baby whiners".
I totally agree that spawn sniping and vehicles camping in spawn is an issue, but I have a long list of issues that will arise if you just block some weapons from shooting.
