#Provide a list of people you've recently killed/been killed by or had VOIP with.

I’m neutral on this because: whilst yes it would be useful in some situations, with lots of players using voip in bbr the names could easily fall into obscurity on that list within a few minutes. Plus it would need to do more than just “killed by/logging voip”. Imo, as it doesn’t account for things like griefing from teammates.
And generally hitting tab to find the user to report is easier for people to understand, especially newer players, so adding this thing in might cause confusion for newer players. Not against it, but I’d prefer the idea of a whole report system rework if we’re going this route, instead of just for voip/killed by.
In the meantime for OP, I recommend using nvidia’s built in screen recorder (if you have it) or OBS and then use #report-player to report
what im referring to is the instance where i hear someone say something foul, then i look down at the bottom left to see see who it is and it disappears. I'm lucky if i can catch 3-5 letters of their name. The only time i can report it is if they continue talking after saying awful shit so their name stays visible. It could be remedied by adding a fade out time to the text that displays when someone is talking.

Don't take it personally it's online gaming, if it's too short to even see the name you are offended too quickly
Mate, it doesn't matter. People don't want to hear that in game. Dismissing it as "online gaming" ain't it.
Mate, don't be a softy just mute audio for your personal safe space

How does a recently played with list sound? Adding the K/D [ How many times you killed them / How many times they killed you ] statistic.
Nvidia shadow play instant record. You can just grab the last 15 seconds, and you don't have to fill up your ssd/hd.
Also, idk if you know there's a search function at the top of the scoreboard. Partial names can suffice to find x person you want to report.
What? Who's asking for that? It's annoying af listening to people who use anonymity to say things they wouldn't. I was watching wherswallace the other day and someone was saying the n word just to say it. No one wants to hear that shit. I'm not muting audio because some clowns think they're funny.

But seriously I thought your point was fair until the anonymity part. To that I say: this is a funny unity game people are going to do goofy things regardless because it’s not meant to be taken seriously.
Anon or not, most people see this as a casual game, and nothing more. It will he treated as such by everyone, big and well known or small/unknown in the community.
Being a casual game isn't that much of a factor. It's an issue with the person, not the setting. People who talk like an idiot do it in any game.
I’m not disagreeing, but being anonymous has nothing to do with it tbh
I could easily point to any only use me blade, WingsOfRedemption, etc. clip as an example. People sre going to do it regardless of having a screen name or not
Should it be actioned upon? According to game rules, yes. But having a screen name seperate from themselves as a person isn’t going to influence their decision
I’m still going to play goofy ahh music if I’m playing as “Radio Pepega” instead of my usual Derpster tag, Same applies if I’m using my usual tag/name.
I'm saying people inclined to say bad things have more of a reason to do that.
But they’ll equally get punished the same.
Regardless, I do think this would work if there was a general rework for reporting meshed alongside it to make it easier to report cheaters, griefers, etc. and not just people who do bad things in vc
Mainly because… well, see points above mentioned by those opposing it, they practically think it’s better for the one person to mute and call it a day over a better system like OP is suggesting. I feel like a general overall would get more of a positive outlook (and likewise, more reports for bad actors like cheaters if it does get added.)
Make it a part of a better report UI update and include proposed voice changes like these as a QoL. Everyone wins
Far too easy for user error no thanks
That’s not a downside, that’s a limitation to an upside. Why does this mean your stance is only neutral?
Add the “limitation” alongside it and then I’ll see it as an upside. I’d rather see reports get entirely redone vs just the voice side of it
I see only doing half as a downside because it will cause player confusion (again mainly for newcomers) - you have this way to report voice, but they’ll be stuck wondering how to report cheaters/griefing/etc.
Meaning less reports for those categories overall - not good for a report system imo
But… that’s already the case in the current implementation, and this implementation would make that easier
