Basically, the reward for capturing a point should be spread out in increments as you capture it. War thunder and Enlisted use a system like this. It rewards players who stay on the point for the whole time it’s being captured. There should still be a big xp burst for a full capture. This incentivizes spending more time to capture the point and gives less to those players who only tap the point at the very end of the capture. I don’t think there is a need to change the total exp amount from what it is current for a capture. Instead, just spread the current exp amount out across the entire capture of a point.

Yea if I get downed right before cap it should still give me points, especially if I chose to wait to be revived. It shouldn’t give the full points amount while downed, but it should at least give something to reward you for fighting on the point.
