#X "Defending/Attacking" Objective should count towards the objective weekly.

In addition, I think in games like battlefield, you used to be rewarded for actively protecting a flag that was being attacked. They should add a counter for how long you're in a contested flag that will tick and after a certain amount of points, it can contribute towards a single completed objective.
Makes it hard to really want to help the team when I need to complete 50 objectives, I get no reward for helping hold an objective, and the only way I'll get my reward is by running to a completely different objective and getting there right before it's captured
I think that would just be abused by people sitting in areas not really doing anything and just building up score. While it's helpful to have people contest, getting kills is a less abusable style imo
I mean from my experience, people camp regardless. Especially when they’re trying to rack up kills (which still counts as attacking/defending) or if they’re trying to get their team to spawn in.
While I see your point, I feel like the opportunity for people to abuse it for XP at most, won’t really outweigh the improvement on the flow of objective-based gameplay
im on kekos side here that it shouldnt be based on contest time but contest kills/assist, its puts the challenge in the challenge
