If the defeated team loses only by let's say 0-50 tickets , then defeated team also should get some xp. Could depend on how many tickets/the overall stats on what the team did (Objectives captured , kills etc etc.) which would depend how much defeated team gets xp mainly for other game modes. MAX XP that defeated team could get is 5k , minimum would be 500 for example.
It really is frustrating when both teams are close enough and defeated team gets nothing
