#Merit system in Squad leadership, in plant the bomb mode

Info I was playing the game mode where you have to plant the bomb and defend it until it explodes.

It has happened to me several times already, probably to others as well, that many players don't really take advantage of being the leader of the Squad. Having a group of 7 soldiers who depend on a **single player who ignores their advantages **makes me think that the opposing team has an advantage if they have more competent leaders.

This only applies to the mode I mentioned, as it has a map reset when changing from the terrorist to anti-terrorist side (let's say it that way for better understanding). The players with the most SQUAD points could be considered for the opportunity to become the leader in the second half of the game.

I'm not discussing other modes since I'm not sure how it could work there; it might change from time to time. However, I'm suggesting this idea so that leadership of the SQUAD can fall to players who take advantage of their position.

PS: If a captain does their job well, it's simply because they've kept their SQUAD points high enough to avoid being replaced. Gopkat

I don't quite understand how squad points are dependent on the captain if they accumulate from the actions of the entire squad.

#

And what an incredibly important role the squad captain has in victory, in rush mode. You can't even set a revival point there

#

I just don't care about the captain if I'm playing a rush. I take a bunch of smoke and give my opponents a huge blind spot while my team advances. I may not be the captain.

I think you can also steal squad lead by requesting orders, if sl is lazy or not paying attention it'll give it too you.

It's already there now. At least in point acquisition. That if you make a request to capture a point and the captain ignores it. The captain's rank is removed. I'm not confused, am I?

In mode conquest

It's true, I admit that it's not the best mode for this mechanic, but it's the only one where I thought of implementing this system. According to the squad points obtained by the members, they could have a chance to replace a lazy leader.

I just want to try to address those situations where being the leader is not taken advantage of and give the opportunity to those who can make the most of it.

I don't know, maybe adding an internal AFK counter for the squad leader, and if they don't contribute points within 3 minutes, transfer the leadership to another player who has contributed more.

and you don't need any counters or scoring formulas or anything like that. Everyone will be happy. The inattentive captain will not notice his demotion at all, and the active player will be rewarded both if the point is marked and if the role of commander goes to him
