Currently unable to select squad type while playing with friends

@runic flume Please pass this on to the big blue man himself. While it may seem benign the squadtype could have been hugely benificial for encouraging more tactical and deeper play. In the half a year it's been out I have never had the chance to play in or set up a Tactical or Vehicle squad because of this issue. When your in a party it's always the "Default Squad"

If the functionality was present but non-functional, I would have filed this as a bug report.
As this is a feature which isn't present in the game I thought that suggestions would be an appropriate label to post under
