Battle-Bit is actually built around solo play; team work was just a suggestion never intended to actually happen.

the problem with rallies is that many players don't even know that they can place it, so currently the main way of spawning is on teammates
anyway, if you make it harder to spawn on teammates there is more chance that rallies will be more common
anyway, other players being the main spawn points just feels wrong
I don't know if there iss a function in the api for this; on one of the community servers it's set so only squad leader can get spawned on.

but SLs often don't even know they are SLs, and I'm not a huge fan of 'hierarchy' in the base game, where people are kinda unorganised
the spawning mechanic that I proposed (having at least one or more players around to become a spawnpoint) could somehow force some coordination to be performed between players
Well on this server they learn pretty fast, because they're also the only thing that can be seen on the map.

I quite like this idea - helps prevent entire squads dropping out of a single player
there could be variations of this idea also, like it only requires friendly or requires the same squad members be next to each other, it should be also possible to modify ammount of players that have to be close to each other like instead of 2, 3 or more could be required
it shouldn't be hard to implement mecanic
more squad nearby, faster spawning on them maybe?
