#add incendiary grenade and molly

we have all the grenades, even flyers, but we don't have molly and an incendiary grenade
this would be a cool idea from a tactical point of view
it would be cool till there are 200 ppl throwing them on waki bridge

I’m not against them on the condition that smokes (both grenades and the smoke nade launcher) can snuff out the molotovs like they can in CS. Otherwise evey chokepoint would just get moly spammed, like waki bridge as mentioned here
but then again every choke point would be spammed with smokes so.. hard to say if that would be better, although that already does happen with smokes sometimes

When i think about the potential risks of, damage going through walls, visbility, health pools and performance.. eeh.

I just like the interaction that can come from denying a doorway and the like - trying to counterplay it, trying to predict what the other player is gonna do, etc
Vs rushing head-on and just blasting the guy
The counterplay options i see to a puddle of fire are, dont step on it 
Hence why I think it would have to only be like 5s in a normal match lol. And destructible by trophies to prevent the "spam it in the doorway forever" strat
If the trophy was more effective, agreed. Maybe I’m dumb but half the time when I place 4 near a choke point as support I notice the grenades sometimes just don’t get canceled out.
They seem fairly consistent, but frag grenade AOE is bigger than trophy AOE, and since trophies are on the ground they dont cancel nades thrown over them usually - A grenade at the back of a room can still be damn near lethal in this game.
But I also wouldnt be surprised if some grenades just phase through at random due to lag and whatnot
I've started throwing a trophy along the back wall of a room behind a barrier and it usually helps a lot more than you'd think

Wakistan it's a decent map, but the bridges are 💀
It's really big and the forest part allow very interesting flanks
Sandy is the worst map for me, poor cover areas and snipers covering many angles, the city it's the only good part of the map

I think it makes no difference whether the bridge is thrown with grenades or burning bottles

I like Waki except it ends up being a bridge battle where you throw grenades and pray you dont get hit by a grenade or sniped from C2 if you try to take any other path besides bridge you get sniped or beamed by dmrs
The center of waki with the bridges is awful in my opinion the rest is not to bad honestly
But thats off topic but seeing how oki would implement an incendiary or molly would be interesting, something that would replace smokes or grenades but something to create variety
I'm thinking, maybe I can create a topic about allowing each player to choose which grenades to take
For example, flesh, HE, Smoke
or is this a bad idea?

I dont think we need a flashbang 2.0 and after dealing with gas in finals i dont want it near battlebit, i almost always agree with you steve but this is cant see being good lol

and just the overall spam of area denial ruins the flow of the game
Yea like nade spam is horrendous, i think if incendiarys are added it should be a semi short duration and doesnt work like other throwables where if you have 3 grenades you will have 1 or 2 incendiarys so you cant spam fire everywhere
Basically, I created something similar to what you are saying
Okay lol personally i checked it cause its an interesting idea, would need alot of testing to balance to not over dominate every other throwable and isnt something that cant be spammed all over the map
