This thread serves to gather suggestions how to improve the UI in the game without introducing new features.

  • Rework the representation of the local player in the map screen. The current way with the horizontal and vertical lines that cross the players arrow-symbol is not optimal: The lines tend to hide other information and make reading the map harder. Often you need to have a second look at it before you can see your orientation. The biggest problem is that when you selected a spawn point, this point is still highlighted with the lines so now there are 4 lines on the screen crossing each other, both possibly following a moving player.

  • Remove the highlighting of the selected spawnpoint on the map after spawning. Atm the lines will stay after spawning, make it hard to read the map and identify what is the player.

  • Improve visibility of objectives. Atm the objectives marked with the capital letters in boxes are located too high on the Z-axis so that the player has too look up to see them unless they are far away. Even then it is hard to see them because they do not stand out enough. Although this might be to focus on the objectives targeted by the sqaud leader, the objectives location also serve as a critical point to locate oneself on the map and should always be easy to see.
