#A Planetside 2 type of gamemode

I would love that
Tho maps are kind of too small for that
But I still wish it happens
@empty remnant why not?
They systems, map, engine, modes, and player count do not lend themselves to an mmo esque first person shooter with major faction wars. I played the hell out of planetside 2 when it came out, but the amount of work it would take to "add" to battlebit would be making an entirely new game.
Well, yes, the team gameplay needs a lot of polishing, but a game mode of this type would not be bad, the only two that I have seen with this type of game mode would be Foxhole and Planetside 2, also, for the The issue of map size could be based on the idea of Foxhole, that each region has its own limit and basically they are small maps with each other (like Albion Online for example)
Although perhaps it wouldn't be bad if you also used a little more Foxhole, such as being a logistician to bring resources to allied bases, being a builder of trenches, bases, defenses in general, building vehicles, etc.
You have crossed well into the line of making a new game now
Which like dont get me wrong, planet side 3 when? But the idea is that battlebit is its own unique experience.
maybe it could be achieved at a smaller scale
I mean, of course hehe, but maybe in the future they can consider it, since there are also only two games that do this game mode
The things you have mentioned are generally much bigger than just a mode. Conquest, front line, invasion are all differen modes but the systems they leverage are all the same. There are value and UI tweaks on how you capture a point and when you can capture the point, but it doesn require substantial different functions. (The caveat being invasion staged capture zones, but that in itself is just nested capture mechanic).
Adding things like, building vehicles and resource management require entirely new systems to be created for a singular game mode which can get, real complex.
It would be fucking cool though
