Please. We sorely need this as people just filter into the bad community servers, making it literally impossible to start official servers in some regions (OCE, AISA).
You pay for the server space anyways, at least keep 1 (ONE, uno, eins) server open in each region...

This did happen, yet, they stayed empty for 2 months because community servers were being choosen all the time
so we returned back to based on demand opening

This is because you have to wait for 13 players for the match to start.
No one wants to wait for the match to start, and just sit in the squad/spawn menu.
Like @lament hare said, let us just at the very least play a death match in a small area of the map or something until enough players join or something.
It was empty because people had to wait for a certain amount of people for the match to start, 100%. You literally cannot play the game until 12 other players join or something. Its just the same as having to sit in a queue to launch the map.

Who would want to wait in the main menu for an official server to start when you have access to a community server that isn't even necessarily vanilla, OCE for example having either vanilla community server or a decently modded server (with official progression)

If you join a server, and you're the only one, and you sit there for 2 minutes, another player joins, and then leaves after 1 minute... No one wants to do that...
It does not matter if its in a queue to LAUNCH a server, or if you're in a match WAITING FOR ENOUGH PLAYERS TO JOIN.
Give us 1 permanent server that doesnt require players for the match to start, or allow us to play in a "warm-up" phase.
