  • Make drones unique to squad leaders and make it a squad points purchase.

  • Shouldn't last too long and be quite expensive, forcing players to make more meaningful decisions with it.

  • Only the SL and their squad can see the wallhacks.

  • UAV scans ~150m radius around squad leader so squads more likely to stick together.

  • If squad leader dies, no more wallhacks until bought again.

  • Recons cannot be squad leaders.

  • I'm either cooking or not at all.

Right now it feels like an obligation to use the drone, if nobody on your team wants to sit on drone for 40 minutes the other team has a big advantage, plus the game is not in a state to have features like manual drone scanning, majority of players just want to run and kill, not do unengaging things like hearing a buzzing noise and spam pings on a bunch of fast moving ants.

And recon having the drone is dumb, the class is nerfed to discourage camping but now actually have a reason to sit in spawn and basically give wallhacks to the whole team.

I think recon having a spotting tool fits their role. I wouldn't mind having auto-spotting equipment of some form, But I don't think recon has much of any reason to be stripped of their ability to scout areas out w/ the drone
