So a new idea for sniper gameplay all around

Remove all glint from the game, it does not work and makes anyone using a x15 at a disadvantage for no reason it ruins any form of stealth for the class.
Remove the sniper trails or maybe have them on kill shots only.

Rework the binoculars to have thermal/IR so you can scan the area for sniper at the trade off your primary it will also make binoculars viable. Doing this will also make sniper vs sniper fight more than shoot a shiny glint across a map. Maybe on top of this feature have it so if someone spots a sniper via binoculars you can have a special icon to display that its a sniper (class icon in red).

So you want to remove Glint and Sniper Trails? Are you aware that Glint cone got heavily reduced in the last update?

I don't think I have ever used binoculars at all in the game and considering most/all classes have them it would be nice to make them a viable option to have and you could make dmr counter sniper builds with them

Everyone seems to presume the advanced binos will enable laser spotting at some point

I thought snipers were bad even before the glint rework HyperXD
I wouldn't mind FLIR on advanced binos or something along those lines

But I think that Squad lead is supposed to receive SOFLAM or thermal binos or smthin so..:

Imo glint is fine rn. Trails need some work but encourage more mobile playstyles. I'd like to see them toned down a bit considering how everyone seems to feel about them
