the miniguns are god awful on the transport heli and boat, the transport miniguns are more useful for giving away enemy positions then actually hitting the target and they have terrible damage, same goes for the boat miniguns, the boats should be just as good if not better considering its confined to the water and much easier to hit, the transports are again easier to hit and the fact that they cant even properly protect a landing zone or support friendly infantry after the start is just sad. this is especially sad when you look at the fact that the LB miniguns have what seems to be ZERO spread for some reason, despite there being 2 miniguns giving them actual decent damage compared to the boat or transports.
#buff the boat and transport heli miniguns

So post this in the other thread 😛
Fair
XD
Wait..
should i delete this?
The damage of the transport helicopter's miniguns is the most atrocious and lowest in the entire game. They are weaker than a pistol and can take between 6-8 hitmarkers to kill, and even up to 12 with Exo armor.
Don't delete.
The other thread was made 9 hours ago
The suggestion forum is here to be used
yea mines newer
Not for duplicates
yes, until it full
fair
which is in about 20 threads
No you can have 1000 threads. This guy is just a janny
So clearly I'm right, you're wrong.. Now sit down
Geez..
also i kinda feel like my point is better made
people see "minigun buff" and think the LBs guns
Maybe, but you can still add it to the other thread, thereby saving a spot
This is why, we try to condense them, also.. Much easier to look thru 1 thread, than 15 on the same subject
I mean, once it hits close to the 1000 mark, the whole suggestions will be closed.. Then nobody can suggest anything
just . . . why make the LB miniguns have zero dispersion and make the bh miniguns have so much they cant hit the side of a barn?
does anybody disagree with this?

miniguns doing sound muffling in an 3m area (along explosives) maybe velocity up/ firerate, but less vehicle dmg so heli fights dont turn into 10 sec brawls

Yeah, the miniguns just need better infantry fighting capabilities, this would do it imo
i personally think the miniguns on helis just need a bit more consistent damage
it's a freakin minigun that goes brr but can't actually kill anything even if you tried
honestly helis just need more velocity and damage to their miniguns to make them legitimately viable and not a death sentence

I've noticed that main trap here is a minigun accuracy when you hold the key. Low infantry damage - yes, but another one.
If i hold mouse key - crosshair starts shaking randomly and it is uncontrollable and being a noob-trap.
If you fast-click your mouse, the shaking almost not affect your point of aiming, first few bullets hit that place you aimed.
So if you fast click instead of hold - you hit more bullets to target.
And even then damage of that minigun is so small to shoot sideways. You can hit if target is on your back or in your front. But shooting sideways (as miniguns faced, and made additional noob-trap) - you miss on shaking, miss on moving, miss on network engine. So you hit 1 bullet per 100, and that damage is... 20.
gotta love the minimal recoil gau be like, nah not gonna hit within 50 meters of your target.
yes, i agree minimal shaking without affecting ui crosshair please. they shoot thousands of bullets to target that requires 5 (soldier)/100 (jeep)/300 (blackhawk) hits. And they hit 3-5 bullets =/
i cant just start to explain "please shoot spreads by 3-5 bullets, then your brain/hands will correct mouse and you hit more often", thats useless and amusingly
teamfortress implement some bullets skipping once barrels get hot. reducing rate of fire.
because decreasing accuracy with long spreads makes pros OP and newbies underpowered.
so spread should have initial value like 5 and being increased to 15, and crosshair instead of shaking should be circle and its size increases, thats forces players to choose spreads vs hold -> you can see whats changes.

u made a point there
