Once a (ground) vehicle gets below a certain health percentage (maybe once it starts burning), make it unable to move until repaired above the threshold, but allow it to still shoot as normal.

One of the more frustrating parts of vehicle play in this game is whittling one down to low health, only to watch it drive off at speed back to base to repair, it feels very unfulfilling.

Likewise, a Humvee hit with an RPG should be a mobility kill, but not blow it up immediately, it gives a bit more onous for engineers to carry repair tools in the field.
