#Ability to replace squad leads

Lets face it, most squad leads in this game have no interest in actually leading a squad, they just ended up in the role by luck. This can be frustrating for players interested in squad play that find themselves in such a squad.
I'd like to suggest that players in a squad be able to replace their squad lead.
As for how it would work, I came up with 2 possible solutions

  • A voting system. A squad member puts themselves up as an alternative squad lead. Squad members vote on it.
  • A request system. A quad member presses a button to request squad lead. The squad leader receives a prompt and can either accept or decline it.
    In both cases is the person requesting does not get accepted as squad lead, there is a significant cooldown before they can do it again.

It's not a competitive game, why try make i one? It's here to have fun, if people aren't cheating, then most end up doing just so? My two cents anyway, not needed.

Oh and just to add, you can always make your OWN squad? I just think it's bloat we don't NEED, but not a shitty suggestion

@stark pecan the feature you ask for is already in the game, now you can request an order in the radial menu, if the squad lead don't answer in a reasonable time, you became the squad leader

I actually lost lead the other day because of not knowing how to give an order, presume it's just sending an attack point on a flag?

you can requst order and if they don't order, you become one
