My suggestion with the new classifications is to remove the ARs and SMGs from the medic class and give them only PDWs so that the medic has one range of lethality: Close.

Yes, you can kill someone with a honeybadger from 200m, but not very well. SMGs are still incredibly powerful like the Vector or the Mp5 and by limiting weapons of the medic to just PDWs you force the medic into a more supportive role since they do not have a lot of firepower.

This still lets players who like the honeybadger and P90 to do well with them and these weapons certainly are very deadly, but it will remove medics the ability to engage enemies at a far or medium distance with the carbines and ARs.

The vector and mp5 got hoed the most in the smg nerf they are not powerful

Unfortunately medic is kinda dead now alteast to me. Most assaults seem to be running a dmr or p90/mp7/hb. Now if I’m a medic and run an smg my ads is about equal to an assault running a p90 but if they run an smg it’s just swings in there favor to much in cqc. It got very annoying dying because there ads is just 20% quicker. So I just switched to either a speedy mp7/p90 assault. Feels better and feels like playing medic before with the numbers of fights I win

Tldr- changes made a 500 h medic permanently change to assault because it’s more Consistent when fighting the increased number of assault players

I mean if medic is meant to just be worse then assault then ig? But that doesn’t seem like a wise way to balance a class. In reality you just moved people like me to a class that’s becoming closer and closer to medic but with 20% less ads and no real downside. Like 2 ammo box’s means I never run out of ammo and I can only count the number of times I flat ran out of Bandages on 1 hand. So now the play style is just more powerful then before?

Actually you could Argue it Incentivizes a more selfish play style. Although before I mainly used medic for me I would always rev people around me because I didn’t hurt me. Now I’m Never going to. bandages are a limited resource so I just don’t anymore

In my humblest of opinions there just straight up isn’t a reason to pick medic. Guns? Just pick assault. Self-Sustain? Just pick assault, you get plenty. Fighting Capability? Just pick assault. Team Support? Very close to not meaningful due to bandage changes.

Everyone can bandage themselves quicker than you can whip out the funny healing box.

What is going to change? Skilled players will still be killing the same.

They won't be playing medic if they want high kills unless they want to use the pdws in which case all power to them but assault would probably be better for that.
