There's considerable controversy surrounding movement and TTK at the moment, both among developers and the community. One side argues that movement as it is right now is acceptable, while the other insists it's flawed and consistently exploited. However, it seems nobody is addressing the elephant in the room: 80% of weapons do not require any skill to use and can be fired in full auto at ranges where it shouldn't be feasible.

SMGs and ARs are the main culprits in this aspect. The MP5, AK74, F2K, AUG A3, ACR, UMP-45, and PP-19 are among the worst offenders. While many complain about DMRs, which are indeed overpowered, the majority of the arsenal is also excessively overtuned and laser beamy by a significant margin.

There should be penalties for firing full auto at targets that are at least +70 meters away. By necessitating burst control for precision at longer ranges, the skill requirements for overall gunplay would increase. This change might potentially mitigate TTK issues and instances of instantly killing opponents, as players wont be able to effortlessly eliminate others from unreasonable distances or times. Instead, they would require trigger discipline to achieve good DPS and secure kills. This adjustment could also introduce more counterplay opportunities when ambushed or attacked from unexpected angles. Additionally, the penalty for horizontal recoil should be shifted towards more vertical recoil, as vertical recoil is manageable with skill and knowledge of the weapons, whereas horizontal recoil is often harder to control.

Of course, this is a complex topic, so fostering a civil discussion is encouraged."
