#Rework accuracy so it actually does something

So, in theory accuracy is the bullet spread, but as we all know - it does nothing (we can't even test it because there are no bullet holes and current tests performed by some people show no difference, test it out yourself).
Reworked accuracy would be an actually working bullet spread.
Combining it with V and H recoils we'd be able to either go for:

  • low recoil (stability), low accuracy builds (spread) = You have low recoil but your spread is high
  • high recoil (stability), high accuracy builds (spread) = You have high recoil but your spread is very small
I think it might help out Oki with his concerns about game. (It would fix full-auto shredding ppl at ranges, making game more balanced, maybe people would actually start shooting in bursts)

Even if they'll get reworked (once again), accuracy stat changes nothing

you can see the spread in game by hipfiring straight up in the air. Try it with something with low accuracy and then try the Mk14 EBR which has the highest full auto accuracy, the bullets have almost no spread

shouldnt it be like same gun with different accuracy to actually test if accuracy stat even work

#

this stat 100% doesnt even work you can just remove it from the gun stat or just rework to make it accuracy like greatly affects gun at longer ranges

From what I understand, there is a cone, but it's god damn narrow, we're talking like less than ~5° or so

#

Probably closer to no spread on 100 accuracy, and more like 1° or less of spread at 80 acc, or something like that... I'm not crunching exact numbers here, but point is, it's absurdly minor.

I think the accuracy attachments barely make a difference anymore but guns with low accuracy compared to high accuracy are noticeable

Ok I just tested it a bit more in firing range and it turns out that accuracy doesnt even effect ADS at all anymore, it only exists when hipfiring. Im almost definite it used to effect ADS as well

Based suggestion. Bloom is great when done well

I'm near 100% certain it affected ADS spread

#

Some guns, even if you fired semi auto at the same target, would miss sometimes

The worst part is that I'm squinting my eyes and shoving my face against the monitor just trying to tell if it isn't 100% accurate lmao
