As we already know Oki's opinion, which seeks a mix between Squad and arcade, why not use the Gameplay (just gameplay, nothing else) of Battlefield V, with its couple of modifications refining this Gameplay, it would be perfect for both those who like it. I like to play as a team as well as alone (And of course if you give me the excuse of "you want to copy Battlefield V" I remind you that the current gameplay is a copy and paste of tactical shooters like Squad, Insurgency Sandstorm, etc. only with a touch more arcade) so once and for all we have a gameplay in which we are all comfortable, because the truth is we don't get anything out of continuing to discuss "how Battlebit should be" since if Oki wants to change or modify it he will do so, so what we have to do is To do now is to find a gameplay that matches what Oki is looking for but at the same time suits us equally, the closest thing is Battlefield V
#Battlebit Gameplay rework

Here is a video example of Battlefield V
Battlefield 5 is hitting RECORD player counts on Steam today, no one saw this coming. Let's play and discuss this epic game! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
If you compare it with the current game there is not much difference, at least in gunplay, but there is a lot of difference in the teamwork that is what Oki is looking for.
idk what this is, but I'ma give it the X without reading it
But for what reason or circumstance XD
I'm a simple man, I see "gameplay rework", I downvote
We work in little bits here smh
Well, at the end of the day, Oki will gradually change the Gameplay to a more team-based one, at least we have to find a way so that this does not affect the players (or at least not as hard) who play alone, right?
Or is it that of course, are they going to wait for Oki to gradually return the game to a more teamwork-oriented one before complaining? If the community is already filing complaints for a minimal change in the movement, imagine later when this game turns more towards teamwork
I think it's more effective to advocate for specific changes
and slowly weed your way into Oki's mind
As I told you, it is not that there is much change between the current Gameplay and that of BFV, there are some things that have to be changed
And as I mentioned, this gameplay needs to be refined a little more, not just copy and paste the same as BFV
And in addition, the same community has shown on several occasions to be against ideas of mechanics that encourage teamwork, so people are undoubtedly seen supporting this direction.
I think a big part of fixing the "solo" issue is rebalancing solo/small squads in some way (primarily has to do with transport, spawning, squad points)
the game supports solo players really well outside of getting alllll the way back to where you died when you're solo due to lack of spawns, as well as having less squad points than bigger groups
Maybe allowing squad leaders to spawn on other squad leads/rally point or something like that?
And how do you rebalance squad work if apparently your community is against that?
There'd be issues with that too but something in that realm could help zi think
Chief idk i'm just throwing ideas out

Its mostly respawning if you ask me, but squad points are wonky too is the tl;dr
What I'm getting at is that if or if Oki there will come a time in which there will be a restructuring of the game according to his vision, whether we like it or not, so the closest thing we can do is look for a game with what Oki is looking for.
HP is too easy now
people run solo because you can full heal faster than any medic can heal ya
Working with others gives the same rewards as in any other game, so of course people will play it like any other game
And for that reason, there will come a point where Oki changes a lot of gameplay, encouraging teamwork.
I think the next update is a good step towards that
Bleeding needs fucking adjustment though like please
I agree with encouraging teamwork and strategy like oki intends but there are alot of players who play solo that shouldnt be disadvantaged because of it
Yes it definitely does it procs way to easily and too often i feel like i spend so much time stopping bleeding i give up sometimes and keep fighting until i bleedout
I spend more time trying not to bleed than healing
and I don't know how that's possible, but Oki figured it out
Ok buddy, you seem thoughtful enough
I'll give you a different emoji
And that is why the BFV gameplay should be used, refining it a little more for the solo player
You've got a ☕ from me
Of course this change may be bad or unpleasant for many of course, but little by little you have to have that idea (in addition to the fact that of course it is an Early Access and the gameplay can be very different from the gameplay of the full game)
Yea but it should still have more of its own touch and style but adapting the gameplay in a way to where teamwork and strategy wins you games and gets you kills shouldnt ruin the experience for people who dont have that luxury: people who dont have friends, too much anxiety and introverted to avoid socializing and making friends, friends not being online or available. There would definitely have to be some options and freedom for people who are solo to enjoy the game
Yea when i stop bleeding most the time im at 70-100 health and dont even bother healing the rest and rather just die in a 1v1 situation against a full health support than sit around and healing with a bandage that gives 50 when i only need like 20 health, if you asked me i think we need more bandages with faster bandage time for healing and stopping bleeding and it heals less health
For introverted people, perhaps improve the order rounds, putting the typical ones such as asking for ammunition, a doctor, etc.
So like 1 bandage gives you 50 health so make it where 2 bandages gives you 25 health twice as fast, you dont waste a 50 health bandage healing 20 health and only waste 5 health not being used thats my idea and opinion
It's annoying too because when I bandage I'm healing anyway, so why even have it. It just punishes me for trying to reposition properly sometimes
At least Battlefield V's regeneration system works as follows: you have a bandage to use and life regenerates up to a certain limit, that is, if you have 20% life left it will regenerate up to 60%, and from there you will have to use a bandage to regenerate the rest
True but in the current state people barely resupply or revive/bandage other players, there is just no benefit especially since when revived you have to heal back to full and respawning gets you back full health faster and finding resupply boxes is hard cause it needs a visible icon to make it easy to see or like BF being in a certain ranges resupplies you, and you can argue have a support manually resupply you but most of them are to hyper focused on spraying hundreds of rounds at people unless your a organized team and ask for ammo
Yea but i dont think bleed should be removed more or less because its a way to force you to adapt quickly in engagements but the bandages it self needs a rework to be more optimized and efficient
So you dont heal and stop bleeding at the same time and arent forced to spend alot of time in certain positions being unable to defend yourself from threats cause your stopping bleed for such a long time
Bleed should be more RNG I think. Have it increase in chances the lower your HP is below 50%, but make it so it's not always a thing and doesn't happen as often.
I know that's a weird ask, but with it ALWAYS proc'ing with 40hp of dmg it's just too often
It should also be clear how long you have till you're taking dmg
Of course, that's why we also have to find a way to gradually encourage change, either with videos explaining what the game mode is like (like Battlefield started doing since BF1) or with a training camp that will teach you. explain the mechanics and how to play the game (like SQUAD)
I've made a couple of posts with systems that could vastly improve the game as well
I think one issue with this discord (not the devs fault, it's just how discord is) is that more "boring" ideas that don't get much flak/controversy don't get voted up or noticed as often
So like, I asked for a melee slot. It'd be a fantastic change for the game to be able to always have the pickaxe at least on you I think. Or just some kind of melee tool. But it's not a hot button topic so peeps just skim over it.
Or the armor reworks, lots of good ideas being tossed around but they just don't get noticed
And that's what I'm saying, those "boring" ideas were mostly ideas that encouraged teamwork, but apparently people are more interested in the endless cycle of kill-die-repeat than following Oki's vision with him. game
I think Oki sees the boring ideas though
and my hope is he gets good ideas from them. Like with the smoke changes. I was literally complaining about smokes and asked for those specific changes somewhere and suddenly they're in
I'm not the only one to complain about it, but point is at least he's taking note
Well, since he personally saw how a majority of his community acted in such a "childish" manner due to a measly change in the movement, I hope he revisits those ideas that had many votes against due to supposed impact on the "casuals" (being that this was a tremendous excuse on the part of the players not to change their game mechanics)
Well he's implementing a community test environment type of system. So I think he'll be able to test those changes much easier once he starts using that. He'll probs trust the people doing that testing more than the randos on here
I hope it's like that my friend, because the truth is that most people here want the game to stay the same and not evolve, and if they make even the merest change they complain as if they were taking away the entire Steam library, besides From what I understand, I will make a roadmap.
Some of the toxic people on this server REALLY take the cake tbh. It's kind of insane.
You'll ask for something completely reasonable, and they'll act like their entire life is invalidated.
I really feel like this server has way more teens and children than it lets on lol
But yea, roadmap should be coming soon
Noooo, how dare you turn this game into arma, you stupid dev let me run with my esemgeeee I'm sorry, it just looks that way for some people sometimes lol
It really does lol
Oh god, the squad has arrived here
we care that he's wasting time on garbage updates
Children and adolescents from the Phantom Forces surely XD
Or the people who clown on you for ideas that don’t drastically change the entire game like perma tokens for prestiging, and yes someone clowned me for that idea
Literally average member of the Battlebit server, who believes that a measly modification to encourage teamwork automatically turns him into Missilm XD
Fr hes wasting too much time on changing and adapting the game mechanics and should spend some more time on things to make the game more fun and interesting like events or something new to the game to spice it up and keep it from staying the exact same for long periods of time
Oh, i suggested unlock tickets. Go vote that up, it's a form of what you're asking for kind of. I remember the perma token idea, it was a good one actually
I understand this completely, but you also have to agree that a lot of people come here with not willing to have any constructive discussion and just want to hurl shit at one another. I doubt this helps anyone either tbh 🤷
Ima go vote it up cause if oki implements that it would make prestiging less sufferable, being able to keep one gun of your choice after prestiging would make prestiging a million times better so your not stuck with guns you dislike or dont fit your playstyle for over 100lvls
I actually disagree. I like that the game is getting more and more fine tuned, I love all the giant rework updates. They make the game feel really fresh. QoL updates are REALLY important imo for a game's health and I'm glad we're getting stuff. Invasion wasn't and it was new content. Shoving on new content constantly won't "save" the game. What's needed is a refinement of the stuff that's randomly left behind atm, like rush (which invasion clearly is just a version of), CTF, cash run, etc
I kind of doubt your last two accounts were baned for "going off topic" tbh
just based on how you talk around lol
I think they said "going off topic" as nice speak for "stfu please"
I support you in that, even if you spend a lot of language explaining to someone why a mechanic can make a change for the better in this game, they get the same thing from you "it affects casuals"
lmao, yea I think they just filled in a reason just to get rid of you. Which tbh, understandable
No offense tho
Bruh you're toxic af man
Like real talk. Just go read the shit you sling brother
Yes, unfortunately I'm stopping seeing this as the official server and seeing it more as Battlebit's kindergarten, where here your 12-year-old son can find more people he can play with.
Not trying to be an asshole here, but ya toxic
Homies, this is already derailed as it is, there's no need to sling shit again
Agree
not my job to convice ya, just saying what I've seen. I'll drop it now tho
I will admit, here you've been mostly fine
So good job there, maybe people can change
but I digress
I don't think the game needs a total rework, that's why I gave it a ☕
I don't agree or disagree because things defo need to be adjusted, but not a total rework I think
i'm just gonna disagree, game is fine as is outside of lack of content
Are you sure it's okay? ... I mean... let Oki himself comment that the game is far from his vision and that the same community complains about each new implementation even though from details and statistics it must say something
oki also blamed the sweats that don't play the official servers for why the game is dying...
And I am also aware of it that in my personal opinion it is like half "bruh" to blame those who put the most effort into your game with YOUR mechanics for why there are fewer players
Smokes and game modes clearly need to be adjusted, maps still need work
The game ain't perfect imo
still fun tho at least
Of course, it's not perfect, but at least we're already aware of the direction the game is going to take.
fits under lack of content, smoke fix coming next update finally.
I don't think that's content necessarily, but sure yea
game modes are w/e. i avoid all vehicle modes because the vehicles feel like shit to drive (since they apparently don't have suspension in battlebit universe) and i hate dealing with "vehicle mains"
I personally enjoy the fun little minigame called "sneak behind the enemy lines and C4 that tank up the ass"
i don't. frontline and dom is all i play for a reason. and i lost all respect for vehicle players after how bad it was on release with tanks/btrs hiding in safe zone all game
Why not have two different xp modes? Squad mode, where xp is based on what the average xp gain would be (plus a small percentage) with some small adjustments based on personal performance, and a solo mode where you get however much xp you would get without help.
My main idea here is that for low level players, the small bonus to average xp as a team would be really handy, and small differences in level wouldn’t hurt as bad because of the small personal tweaks, and solo players who are good will be rather unaffected. But, a really good squad could get a ton of xp if they work together well.
I think that should support both squad and individual, but correct me if I’m wrong
how so outta curiousity? Never thought much of it
||I hate to agree, but lots of players seem to be explicitly trolling, or at least be very willing to insult and derail conversations, yes.||
Probably how Milsim mode would work tbh
score wise I mean
I forget, let me read what this is about lol
Oh encouraging teamplay and teamwork
